Chapter 1
Daniel is on a train hat is taking him to the concentration camps. While he is an the train he is looking through his picture album and it brings back memories. One of the memories is about his dad's hardware store. He remembers that his dad would always help customers find the best tools he has He also sees pictures of family. Most of them are of strict Aunt Leah and Uncle Peter.
Chapter 2
In this chapter he continues to look at his picture album. This time it brings back memories about his teacher Mr. Schneider and he wants to have uncle Peter as a teacher. Then at the end he has this really bad dream that his dad's store is closing, he can't go to the public school anymore, and Aunt Leah gets beaten up. (luckily it is a dream!)
Chapter 3
In this chapter Daniel and his family are still on the train and Daniels mother saw the pictures and they brought back not good but bad memories. Then arive they see father he sai that he was at the polie station and he manage to bribe his way out. Thenthey receive a youth hitler uniform.
Chapter 4
In this chapter they received a packaged from uncle Peter at first they thought it was one of his jokes. After that Auntie Leah read the note and started to scream. Mother sent daniel up to their rooms with the other kids. Then father came and told them the news. They knew it he was dead.
Chapter 5
In this chapter he is on a train again. The Nazis told them that they were going to a work camp but daniel knew that wasnt true. Daniel brought only some of his pictures and the rest he hid beause if they find out they may arrest you. When they get there they hate to see all these people die.

First they start talking about their jobs that they have to do and what and how much fooid they get to eat. They also talk about how the workers at the sewing factory refused their soup and the ringleaders including Rosa got fired.

In this chapter Rosa goes into hiding and she doesnt ell Daniel because incase he gets caught he wont give her away. Daniels whole family is going to go to hide but Daniel is not. They say their good byes and they leave. When Daniel is with his friend his friend gets out with out being caught butDaniel does. They put him on a train and they are of to Auschwitz.

When they het to Auschwitz Daniel meets up with his father. Later on i the story Erika gets sent too. As Daniel and father were marchingDaniel said he saw Erika and Father doesnt believe him.

In this chapter daniel walks past erika and he sees a smile on her face then she plays a few extra notes for him.
Chapter 12
in this chapter lots of people were killed and then they do not want to waste their rations they eat them and father made sure he kept all the spoons and knives that he made to trade for bread,potatoes,cheese and sausage to eat. Daniel sees her playing the violin again and danilel throws a note that says fence on it.
Chapter 13
in this chapter they are sent to Buchenwalds and there they do not have to work. they are fed little but the rooms are war.
Chapter 14
When tey are told to they are to go over to a man who has toos and dismantel everything that they can. Later in the chapter they started to shoot and father got shot inthe arm thn he began to shoot and watched guards fall.
Chapter 15
Daniel and father sleep in the hospital complex. When they wake up they ae ceering and screaming thet they are free.
Chapter 16
Peter ends up dying. And he asks him to go tone for him. Finally the war is over and everyone is safe. They all are celebrating.Daniel returns to Lodz to meet Rosa and Daniel proposes to her.

In this chapter Daniel is going through all his pictures and he thinking back to what happened when he took those pictures and telling stories about them. He also tells stories about Rosa.
Chapter 8
First they start talking about their jobs that they have to do and what and how much fooid they get to eat. They also talk about how the workers at the sewing factory refused their soup and the ringleaders including Rosa got fired.
Chapter 9
In this chapter Rosa goes into hiding and she doesnt ell Daniel because incase he gets caught he wont give her away. Daniels whole family is going to go to hide but Daniel is not. They say their good byes and they leave. When Daniel is with his friend his friend gets out with out being caught butDaniel does. They put him on a train and they are of to Auschwitz.
Chapter 10
When they het to Auschwitz Daniel meets up with his father. Later on i the story Erika gets sent too. As Daniel and father were marchingDaniel said he saw Erika and Father doesnt believe him.
Chapter 11
In this chapter daniel walks past erika and he sees a smile on her face then she plays a few extra notes for him.
Chapter 12
in this chapter lots of people were killed and then they do not want to waste their rations they eat them and father made sure he kept all the spoons and knives that he made to trade for bread,potatoes,cheese and sausage to eat. Daniel sees her playing the violin again and danilel throws a note that says fence on it.
Chapter 13
in this chapter they are sent to Buchenwalds and there they do not have to work. they are fed little but the rooms are war.
Chapter 14
When tey are told to they are to go over to a man who has toos and dismantel everything that they can. Later in the chapter they started to shoot and father got shot inthe arm thn he began to shoot and watched guards fall.
Chapter 15
Daniel and father sleep in the hospital complex. When they wake up they ae ceering and screaming thet they are free.
Chapter 16
Peter ends up dying. And he asks him to go tone for him. Finally the war is over and everyone is safe. They all are celebrating.Daniel returns to Lodz to meet Rosa and Daniel proposes to her.
P.S. I know i didnt do so well on this because i was having troubles with loging in and i was very busy so just to let you know i am prepared for a grade lower than an A i will try harder next time.
